Markoe School and we got to dissect baby sharks. The guide, Sue Locos, showed us all the animals they had there. I also learned how to kayak and so much other funny stuff happened. It was my second experience of doing this sport. It was a great experience for me teaching another person how to kayak. I felt big but learned that teaching is very stressful. We went to Salt River. It was a little shaky at first but I got adjusted to it. We were taught about mangroves, animals that comes there,the also learned about the area. I learned a lot about horses. The guide taught us the basic things you need to know. Before we went snorkeling we went to the Anchor Dive Shop at salt river to get our gear. I learned about the Barbados blackbelly and two others. I saw a sheep dog for the first time in my life. There, we met the assistant who help out around there. She told us what she do there and what summer program they have there. Every year, they go away to Washington D.C for a competition. I would like to learn more about computers especially .Also to learn more about animals and how they communicate. I would also like to learn about cats and how they talk to one another. I would especially want to learn about computers because they are very useful. They are very hi-tech and the best technology known to mankind. I really liked her because she is a veterinarian and thats what I want to be when I get older. It was really nice to have her talk about the animals she dealt with. I was just thinking about being a veterinarian dealing with the average cat,dog,hamster etc. but when she showed us the exotic and big animals she worked with it made me want to take my career to a further level. She had a picture of an elephant she was drawing blood from, and she had a picture of a shark and other wild animals. http://www.syp.lepc.learningnet.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=90 We were offered an opportunity to go on a field trip to the Toni Lance's bird Sanctuary. It was very interesting, there were all kind of birds. They were birds I haven't even seen before. The were other animals two rabbits, one dog and several baby iguanas. She said most of the birds she had she rescued them. The one I like the most was the parrot . I like the parrot the most not only because it was my favorite animal but because I always wanted one of my own. I also like the parrot she had because it was tame and not flying all over the place.
